At Logging Camp, most of the lumberjacks have gone south on the log drive. Only four of us are still around to help maintain the equipment and train whatever apprentices show interest. We are far from alone however. The local Native Americans have set up
camp here, before going hunting, and the United States Calvary uses the Knapp Stout Logging Camp when they are on patrol in the region.
Horse Hitching Rope
Prusiks around the trees, two rope Alpine Butterfly knows in between.
Extra Length to be tied out as needed. Burlap used to protect the trees.
Overall tie rope length was about 100 ft.
Tipi poles, and tent/tipi tear down
Scouts chopped down the trees, pulled them out of the forrest, and stripped the bark.
Yep I bribed Scouts to help tear down the tipis, and all I had to promise them was... the experience of having torn down a tipi. Goto love Scouts
